C1PH3R.0N3 DJ-MIX by Shamus Coghlan

Sometimes the best way for people to truly understand the music is to put it in The Mix. This set is pure Techno: moving from dark and dub, through acid and electro floor-bangers, and finally into warm, atmospheric vibes to bring it all home. Every track is either my own production or a remix I’ve created, collected over the last 20+ years. Listen on a good pair of headphones or a big system, and decode the cipher. 😉 Special thanks to RWYS Recordings for supporting these remixes and giving me the chance to do my thing.

It always begins with a strong foundation.

Special thanks to Sean Tate and Strand for allowing me the pleasure to contribute, hear, and be part of the experience, and for including this music in the mix.

Vinyl cuts by the late Nilesh Patel (Nils) at The Exchange, London.

Technophile Release Date November 29, 2010 – Keep your eyes open :)

Technophile EP (12″, EP)

(807) Recordings second release brings back the dedication of Shamus Coghlan’s quest to Destroy Mediocrity. From the very onset of a-side Truth Serum he releases an all out Sonic bliss of pure unapologetic techno. Fast paced and layered with analog modulation this sets the pace of those who dare to be tested.

Technophile EP :: Truth Serum

Technophile EP :: 180 Grams

180 Grams brings even the most hardened of “Technophiles” back home. With a BIG warehouse jacking beat, layered with deep, dark, cold war Sci-fi sounds you will be into Coghlan’s fantasy . With the same passion that started (807) Recordings this release digs in and farther in a dedication to the “Technophile”.
