Thunder Bay EP

In this modern world of technology it truly is a marvel that we can share our music across the world for all to hear in basically the same high quality that came out of the studio monitors. Yes I do have good monitors and acoustics so what I make here in the Magix Snap Studio is very close to what the final art should be. No loss in generations, tapes not being calibrated correctly, lacquers changing the sound due to the physical limitations but rather an exact representation with out middle men and incompatible costs not to mention compromises.

The Thunder Bay EP marks a change and direction in acknowledging where I come from, why I make the music I do and subtly pays homage to a part of my heritage. IT IS about the MUSIC and having it accessible to anyone who wants to appreciate this in the least compromised format(s).

Working closely with Paul Mac on the mastering I believe we have achieved some of my best sounding music to date. The Buzz EQ Paul used seemed to be the perfect tool to help us achieve a dynamic and not compressed sound scape that stretches wide, deep, with all the subtleness of the analog gear used. No question the acoustics in the studio have helped greatly to achieve a more accurate mix also and an great ROI but being able to send files back and fourth in perfect quality is no small change in the progression of how far we have come as a society.

Collaborating with the best people around the world to help push music and art forwards well not forgetting the important values quality is what this EP is about well being it accessible on all streaming services.
